Keep the module powered and pulse its positive or negative voltage-trigger input. A relay can switch a suitable trigger voltage; this is not an unpowered contact-only input.
A suitable smart controller can expose supported functions to Matter. The control type alone does not confirm electrical compatibility or actual position feedback.
